A settlement
agency for new Canadians, CultureLink is a not-for-profit community-based
organization that facilitates the settlement of newcomers to Toronto,
Canada.
This
is done through programs, which promote self-sufficiency, positive interaction
and understanding between the Host and Newcomer communities, and the
overall well being of all participants. CultureLink recognizes the special
needs of refugees, is committed to equity and opposes discrimination
of any kind.
CultureLink
realizes that in order to continue to meet the needs of its participants,
the organization must continually be ready to learn and respond to the
changing needs of the community it serves.
Mission

CultureLink is dedicated to facilitating the independence and full participation
of newcomers in Toronto's diverse community.
This is done by:
- Enhancing
and building skills to promote newcomer self-sufficiency
- Promoting
positive interaction and understanding between the HOST and newcomer
communities
- providing
innovative programming to meet the changing settlement needs of newcomers
and volunteer participants
CultureLink
works within an anti-discriminatory framework to ensure a respectful,
safe and inclusive environment.
