Newcomer Youth Center
The Newcomer Youth Centre (NYC) is a space for you to get connected with services, resources and friends. A place where you can hang out, express yourself, and talk to youth workers who understand where you are coming from. We offer programs, workshops and support for all newcomer youth between the ages of 14-24.

Homework help - Qualified tutors will assist with all subjects, especially for ESL students. Tutoring will be held at the Parkdale library in the Program room.

Come in for settlement counselling, housing help, education information, assistance with immigration, inter-generational conflict support and more...

Be trained as a cross-cultural peer mediator.

Newcomer Girls' Group:

gets together to make
craft and jewelleries. Materials are provided. It starts on February, 2006, but
you are always welcom to join any time.
